In the last two months we have been on the road a lot and visited interesting events in the field of intralogistics and waste management. We were able to present our products to a broad professional audience and establish many interesting contacts. We are also pleased to be nominated for the Fast Forward Award 2019. In the following we will review the most exciting moments and would like to thank all visitors and organizers.
The IoT Forum CE is the largest forum on the topic of IoT in Central Europe and was held this year on 5 June 2019 in Vienna. Around 250 participants and 40 speakers exchanged views on the latest developments in the field of IoT applications. In the course of this event, we were also able to give a presentation on "Challenges and Solutions using NB-IoT" together with our partner Magenta-T Business.
As a supplement to the joint presentation, visitors to our partner's stand were able to see a demonstration of the smart trash can using our Augmented Reality App.
On 26 and 27 June 2019 the Austrian Logistics Day 2019 of the VNL took place in Linz. 820 participants, 50 exhibitors and 13 start-ups, including SLOC, enriched this event.
We presented our innovative solutions for the tracking of industrial trucks to the professional audience and reported in our presentation on "Intelligent containers in combination with NB-IoT" about our previous experiences with this exciting data transmission technology.
On 10.07.2019 the nomination event of the Fast Forward Award 2019 took place at the Orangery Graz. SLOC was also nominated for one of the 5 best innovations in the category small businesses at this award of the SFG Styria. In the course of the event, all 30 short-listed projects of the Fast Forward Award 2019 were presented to the public and were handed over their certificates by Provincial Councillor MMag.a Barbara Eibinger-Miedl in a beautiful, festive setting.
The Green Tech Cluster reception on 8 July at the aiola in the castle was all about green pioneering achievements. The environmental technology industry is pursuing the clear vision 100: 1 Earth. 0 Carbon. 0 Waste. To protect our earth and our climate for a future worth living.
As a member of the Green Tech Cluster we were also invited to present our company and our solutions in the field of Smart Waste. Because our products also make a significant contribution to the reduction of CO² emissions by avoiding unnecessary truck journeys.
